School for high school dropouts

Secondary education at traditional schools is not always suitable for all pupils for various reasons. The transition from primary school to secondary school can be a lot for pupils to deal with causing a great deal of anxiety. Many parents take the step to withdraw their children from school altogether. King’s InterHigh provides parents who may be looking for options for High School dropouts with a chance for early school leavers to not only re-engage with education, but to thrive.

The advantage of being an online school

Pupils can take lessons wherever there is an internet connection. Students can therefore study at home or wherever they or their families need to be, providing them with greater flexibility regarding their education. All lessons are recorded and archived and accessible to students 24/7 via our online archive. This provides pupils with an excellent resource for revision, preparation for lessons, project work or to catch up. The fact we are a school without walls also makes it easier for teachers to set up break out areas for group work, without being confined by the limitations of a building.

Make rapid progress

We have found that pupils make rapid progress following our flexible and revolutionary teaching model. Each subject’s syllabus is designed to be engaging for pupils. Lessons are also structured to encourage independent learning and further enquiry. This enables pupils to progress rapidly, regardless of their age. Pupils are also taught a maximum of two subjects a day in a bid to consolidate learning. We find that this approach better prepares pupils for the style of learning encountered in further and higher education. On average, many of our students go on to graduate with an upper second class degree or higher at university.
