King’s InterHigh launches the world’s first online IB Diploma

King’s InterHigh, the UK’s leading online school, is now the world’s first to offer the International Baccalaureate® Diploma Programme (“IBDP”) entirely online.

Known for its academic rigour and well-rounded curriculum, the IB Diploma Programme is one of the most renowned and respected pathways to university and future success. Over the course of the two-year programme, ambitious students aged 16 to 19 follow their choice of subjects across the English language, additional modern and classical languages, mathematics, natural sciences and technology, humanities and social sciences, and the arts. The IBDP is also complemented by the Diploma Programme core, which covers the theory of knowledge, an independent research project, and pursuits across creativity, physical activity, and community service.

With over 16 years of experience and an alumni cohort of more than 10,000, King’s InterHigh is the world’s largest online school outside of the United States. Teaching the British curriculum since 2005, we are now adding the IB Diploma Programme to our unique online offering. Alongside an international education, IB students at King’s InterHigh will also receive the high-quality teaching and flexibility we are known for. Learners can study the IBDP with us from anywhere in the world through live, interactive lessons, in which our expert teachers use cutting-edge technology (such as VR) to create an immersive educational experience.

Starting from this month, King’s InterHigh is registering interest from families around the world. Together, these students will form the first cohort for the online IBDP pilot, beginning their studies in September 2022.
